The technology

Four technologies,
one routine

Each CurrentBody Skin device translates a treatment you would once book in a clinic into something you run at home. The technology does the work. You keep the habit.

01

Red light (633nm)

Penetrates the upper layers of skin to support collagen and elastin. The treatment behind most CurrentBody Skin anti-ageing results.

02

Near-infrared (830nm)

Reaches deeper than red light to work on firmness and recovery. Often paired with red light in the same session.

03

Blue light (415nm)

Targets acne-causing bacteria on the surface of the skin, so breakouts calm without stripping the barrier.

04

Radio frequency

Gentle heat at the dermal layer to tighten and tone. FDA-cleared for skin tightening, on its own or between LED sessions.

Serum absorption

Up to 5x

Measured when the LED mask is used with the Green Tea Serum versus serum alone.

What customers say

As seen in VogueThe TimesHarpers BazaarMarie ClaireGQ
I started with the mask on a friend’s recommendation and now the neck mask sits right next to it. My skin looks calmer, and the routine is short enough that I actually keep it.

Hannah Whitfield

Verified buyer, Series 3 Face Mask

The RF device replaced a treatment I used to pay for every six weeks. It will never be a clinic, but for the price of one appointment I get a routine I use twice a week.

Priya Nair

Verified buyer, RF Skin Tightening Device

I have rosacea and I was nervous about light therapy. My dermatologist told me the wavelengths were the ones she would use, and the blue light mask cleared my breakouts without a flare.

About CurrentBody Skin

Fifteen years of beauty tech

CurrentBody Skin started in 2009, when founder Laurence Newman took a simple idea to a digital partner and built a brand around it: the technologies that work in a clinic should be available at home. The two of them launched the store that year, and the first flexible LED light therapy mask followed.

That mask is now in the hands of more than 500,000 people across 80 countries. Alongside it sit the Neck & Décolletage Mask, the LED Hair Growth Helmet, the RF Skin Tightening Device and a skincare line led by the Green Tea Serum.

Every device goes through independent clinical testing before it reaches you, and carries FDA clearance where the category needs it. We would rather prove a result than post a before-and-after you cannot check.

Frequently asked questions

Questions people ask before they buy

Yes. This is the official CurrentBody Skin store, and every device is shipped and supported by us directly. The brand has made at-home beauty technology since 2009 and carries FDA clearance on the LED and RF devices. If a page ever asks you to buy from an unofficial re-seller, treat it as a copy.

Buy from this site or from one of our authorised retail partners. Buying here means the warranty is registered to you and support runs through us. Counterfeit LED masks are common online, and they rarely run the correct wavelengths.

This is the official CurrentBody Skin website, and it serves customers in the US and worldwide from one place. Prices show in your local currency, and we ship across the United States, the UK, Europe and 80 countries in total.

Series 3 is the larger upgrade. It runs 750 LEDs across four wavelengths with MyDose technology, which adjusts the dose to the mix of light you select. Series 2 uses a single red and near-infrared configuration and remains the lower-priced option. Both deliver a five-minute session.

For fine lines and firmness, the Series 3 LED Face Mask is the one to start with. It combines 633nm red light with 830nm near-infrared, the two wavelengths with the most evidence behind them for collagen and skin texture. Pair it with the Neck & Décolletage Mask for the areas that show age first.

Most people notice a change in skin tone and glow within four weeks of regular use, and firmer texture around eight to twelve weeks. The mask works on a five-minute session, three to five times a week. Keep the habit consistent and the results follow; skip weeks and they fade.

Blue light at 415nm targets the bacteria behind breakouts, which is why the Blue Light Therapy Mask suits blemish-prone skin. Red and near-infrared light support the skin as it repairs, which can soften the look of post-acne marks over time. Deep pigmentation usually needs a dermatologist as well.

Yes. LED therapy is non-invasive, uses no heat and does not break the skin barrier, which is why dermatologists often recommend it for sensitive and reactive skin. Start at three sessions a week and build up. If you have a diagnosed condition, check with your dermatologist first.

LED light therapy is safe for all skin tones. Red, near-infrared and blue light do not rely on melanin, so they act the same way across Fitzpatrick types. It is also one of the few at-home technologies with no risk of the post-inflammatory pigmentation that lasers can cause.

Yes, and the two often work well together. Apply your retinol on the nights you are not masking, or wait about twenty minutes after applying it before you use the LED mask. If your skin is adjusting to a new active, keep the routine simple for the first two weeks.

Apply serum first. Light therapy works on the skin, and a clean, hydrated surface conducts it best. The Green Tea Serum was formulated for exactly this step. Cleanse, apply a thin layer of serum, then run your five-minute session.
